Team Permissions
Sapling provides permissions-based controls for teams to manage information access and control. The following permissions may be granted to individual users on the team dashboard.
Team Member (None)
Team members have access to read and use the team knowledge base (dictionary, mappings, snippets, and responses).
Admin
Team admins have permission to read, write and modify anything related to the team. This includes the ability to add and remove users from the team and modify user permissions. They can also modify site controls for the team and modify knowledge base information.
Manager
Team managers cannot edit user controls (adding or removing users, changing user permissions) or site controls. They have access to read and edit everything else on the Sapling team.
User Settings
Permissions around team reporting (Inspect) as well as modification of the knowledge base (Edit) can also be granted to non-admin individuals on teams as well. For example, on some teams, there are specific people who look at reporting who do not touch the knowledge base and on other teams everyone is expected to keep the shared snippet library up to date.
